Always add acid to water, never add water to acid. Wear protective eyewear and a mask when handling the acid wash solution. This product is intended to be used after the pool has been drained. (Keeping the product warm will provide for easier mixing)
Step 1: Dilute one gallon of swimming pool muriatic acid into the desired amount of water. A good "starter" mix would be one gallon acid to two gallons of water. Use a 5 gallon or larger clean plastic pail.
Step 2: Add 8 ounces of Bio-Dex Plaster White 'N Brite to the diluted acid solution. Stir solution slowly for one minute to thicken, using a wood or plastic stir stick. To boost the solution add 6 to 8 ounces (or more) of Bio-Dex Aquadex 50 Stain-Off. You are now ready to acid wash the pool.
Step 3: Using a small plastic pail, pour the mixed solution along the tile line and allow solution to run down the plaster and dwell for 4 to 5 minutes. Hose off. Brushing is optional.
Repeat until entire pool has been covered in solution. If foaming is a problem, Use Bio-Dex Foam Stop.
