SpaPure Simply Soft:
This product may clump or become stiff in container, but will not affect product performance.
- Adjust water balance factors to appropriate ranges: pH 7.2-7.6, total alkalinity 100-120 ppm, calcium hardness 150-250 ppm.
- Using this product in a spa for the first time, add 6 ounces (3/4 cup) for every 200 gallons of water directly to the water, with the circulation system running. In most spas, this initial dose will introduce enough product to last between draining and refilling the spa. Residential spas with light to moderate use should be drained and refilled a minimum of every three months.
Spas that require frequent additions of water, to maintain operational levels, may need to add additional product.
- For spas that require water to be added more than two times between complete drain and refill, add 6 ounces (3/4 cup) for every 200 gallons monthly.
- Water treated with this product should not be discharged into lakes, streams, or ponds. Disperse discharge evenly over lawn or yard.
SpaPure Spa Oxidizing Shock:
NEVER mix different products together in same bottle or pail. Add this product directly to the water. Broadcast this product uniformly over the surface of the spa water with the pump running and the spa filtering. Apply this product to the spa weekly, after heavy use or when the water looks slightly hazy or dull. Apply more frequently to the spa if the spa is used often.
- Turn on circulation system.
- Add 1.5 ounces (2 tablespoons) for every 200 gallons of water. Broadcast product over the surface of the water.
- Continue to circulate water for 15 minutes. Spa may be used 15 minutes after application.
SpaPure pH Up:
NEVER mix different products together in the same bottle or pail. Add this directly to the spa water.
- Test spa water frequently during the week and make necessary adjustments.
- Turn on circulation system.
- If pH is between 6.8 and 7.1, apply 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) for every 500 gallons of water. Apply this product directly to the spa water. If pH is less than 6.8, apply 2 ounce (4 tablespoons) for every 500 gallons of water.
- Circulate for 15 to 30 minutes and retest pH.
- If pH is below 7.2, repeat steps 2-4 until pH is between 7.2-7.6.
If you are adjusting the pH with some frequency, test total alkalinity and make necessary adjustment. Use of SpaPure simply soft will help maintain a stable pH and buffers alkalinity.
SpaPure pH Down:
NEVER mix different products together in the same bottle or pail.Add this product directly to the water.
- Test spa water frequently during the week and make necessary adjustments.
- Turn on circulation system.
- If pH is between 7.2 and 8.0, apply 1/4 ounce (2 teaspoons) for every 500 gallons of water directly to the spa. If pH is greater than 8.0, apply 1/2 ounce (4 teaspoons) for every 500 gallons of water.
- Circulate for 15 to 30 minutes and retest pH.
- If pH is above 7.6 then repeat steps 2, 4 until pH is between 7.2 - 7.6
SpaPure Clarifier:
NEVER mix different products in the same bottle or pail. Add this product directly to the spa water. 1 capful = 1/2 ounce, 2 capfuls = 1 ounce.
Weekly Maintenance Program:
- Turn on circulation system.
- Add 2 ounces per 500 gallons directly to the spa water. Spa may be used after application.
- Continue to circulate water 30 minutes after application.
Cloudy Water Aid:
- Clean filter. See your dealer for cleaning instructions particular to your water and spa.
- Turn on circulation system.
- Add 4 ounces per 500 gallons directly to the spa water.
- Repeat after 24 hours if water has still not cleared. See your dealer for other possible remedies.
SpaPure Stain and Scale Preventer:
NEVER mix different products together in the same bottle or pail. Add this product directly to the spa water.
Removal of fresh stains and scale:
- Rinse and clean filter with SpaPure Filter Cleaner according to label instructions.
- Balance spa water to appropriate ranges, including pH and alkalinity.
- With circulation system running, add 2 to 3 ounces of this product directly to the water for every 100 gallons of water.
- Continue to circulate water for at least one hour. Spa may become hazy for a short period of time after application.
- Existing stains and scale buildup may need to be brushed away with an appropriate spa brush.
Prevent stains and scale:
- Test spa water at leases once a week and make necessary adjustments.
- Weekly, with circulation system running, add 1 ounce of this product directly to the water for every 100 gallons of water.
SpaPure Chlorinating Granules:
Routine Application:
With circulation pump on, add 1 tablespoon of or 1/2 an ounce of this product for every 500 gallons of water. Regular additions will be necessary to maintain 2-4 ppm of free available chlorine at all times. Actual dosages of product required to maintain the desired free chlorine residual will way with spa use and water temperature. Use a test kit frequently to determine and maintain the proper free chlorine residual.
Shock:
Add 2 tablespoons or 1 ounce of this product for every 500 gallons of water. Maintain operation of your pump and filter. Regular additions will be a least once a week. Additional treatments may be necessary when the spa is being used frequently or when spa is used by multiple people.
