ProTeam Spa Metal Magic gives spa and hot tub owners an easy and effective way to prevent metal staining and scale built up from forming, while removing any existing stains from your pump and heater. Its powerful liquid formula can be added directly to your pool to quickly remove iron, copper, manganese, silver, and other metals from your spa water that cause stains. Scale buildup is also prevented to ensure your pump and heater are working at peak efficiency, keeping your spa or hot tub clean and healthy. Best of all, you can continue to use your spa during treatment. Metal Magic is made in the USA to ensure quality, allowing you to buy with confidence.

Start Up and Prevention:

Add 1 oz per 100 gallons of spa water.

Removal of Fresh Stains and Scale:

Add 2-3 oz per 100 gallons of spa water.

Start Up and Prevention:

Initially and weekly thereafter, with circulation system operating, add 1 ounce of this product for every 100 gallons of water. Add directly to the spa.
Test the spa water a minimum of one ounce per week and make necessary adjustments to pH, total alkalinity, and sanitizer levels.

Removal of Fresh Stains and Scale:

Clean and rinse the filter with ProTeam Spa Filter Clean according to label instructions.
Balance the spa water to appropriate ranges, including pH and alkalinity.
With circulation system operating, add 2-3 ounces of this product for every 100 gallons of water. Add directly to the spa.
Continue to circulate water for at least one hour.
Spa may become cloudy after application. Clarifiers will help speed up the recovery. Occasionally remove and rinse filter as the filter is removing particulate causing cloudy water.
Existing stains and scale buildup may need brushing to help speed up the removal.

We appear to have an organic problem with our water (no metallic elements show in tests), so I am not really sure that this is the right product for our water, but the spa dealer insisted we should use it to protect our pumps & pipes.
