For Pools With Visible Algae:

2 fl oz per 1,000 gallons of water.

For Pool Algae Prevention:

1 fl oz per 1,000 gallons of water per month.

For Spas and Hot Tubs:

6 mL per 100 gallons of water.

For Pools With Visible Algae:

To control algae, or where visible algae is present, apply at a rate of 2 fluid ounce of AlgaeShield per 1,000 gallons of water (20 fl ounces for 20,000 gallons). This will yield a 0.9 ppm of metallic copper.

For Pool Algae Prevention:

Application should be made before visible signs of algae appears. Apply at a rate of 1 fl oz per 1,000 gallons of water. This will yield a 0.45 ppm of metallic copper. Repeat maintenance dosage of 1 fl oz of AlgaeShield per 1,000 gallons of water once a month to maintain control.

For Spas and Hot Tubs:

Apply at a rate of 6 mL per 100 gallons of water. This will yield a 0.9 ppm of metallic copper.

Note: Do not exceed 1.0 ppm of metallic copper.
