The Pool Breeze Total Alkalinity Increaser is a quick dissolving balancer that is designed to fight corrosion and the build up of scale on your pool equipment and surfaces, all while leaving your water sparkling and clear. Compounds in the granule product act as a buffer, or an agent, that will prevent a drastic shift in the pH when other acidic or basic chemicals are added to the pool water. To maintain the balance in the Total Alkalinity levels of your pool's water, the levels need to be between 100-120 ppm.

Test your water's total alkalinity every week with your Pool Breeze test strips and adjust if necessary. Generally, 3 lbs. of Pool Breeze Total Alkalinity Increaser in 10,000 gallons of pool water will raise total alkalinity by 20 ppm. Refer to addition chart. Do no increase total alkalinity more than 50 ppm in one day.
Allow the water to circulate for 12 to 24 hours. Repeat treatment as necessary until an alkalinity level between 100 ppm - 120 ppm is obtained.
