For maximum effectiveness, pools with a large amount of algae growth must be treated with 32 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water. After 24 hours, the algae debris must be removed by standard cleaning procedures, including brushing loose algae spots, vacuuming the pool and backwashing the filter.
For treatment of freshly cleaned and filled pool, add 18 ounces per 10,000 gallons of pool water. To maintain pool free of visible algae growth, add 6 ounces per 10,000 gallons of pool water every week after the initial treatment. Apply this product directly to the pool water with the circulation system turned on. Allow ample time for product to be distributed before turning off the pump.
This product is compatible with other other chemicals commonly used to treat swimming pools and it is effective in both acid and alkaline ph ranges. It can be used in pools treated with chlorine chemicals, and its use may reduce the amount of these chemicals required.
Compatible with bromine, chlorine, salt water, ozone, biguanide and minerals.
