This stuff is amazing! Had levels over 8000 (not a typo). After going to the local pool store they sold me chemicals that got poured into the filter directly. No more than 40 ounces per application into a DE filter. Run for 48 houses then take the filter apart clean , reassemble and do again. At that rate it would take at least a month to clear besides the cost of chemicals and D.E. I researched and found pool geek and Bio dex phosphate remover , had nothing to lose sent for a bottle. This stuff is amazing ,followed the directions poured into the pool water instantly turned white ,clouded up where you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. Let the filter run 24 hours straight. Took apart the filter and cleaned it out set it up again.Reading came down unbelievable. Repeated the process one more time.
