NEVER MIX DIFFERENT PRODUCTS TOGETHER IN THE SAME BOTTLE OR PAIL. Pool may be used immediately after product application. Add product directly to the pool water in the skimmer.
For Best Results: Test pH and alkalinity before each use and adjust accordingly (pH 7.2-7.6, alkalinity 80-120 ppm). With pump running add product directly to the skimmer. Performance will improve with consistent applications.
Maintenance Directions: Add 2 ounces per 10,000 gallons of pool water weekly. All other pool maintenance products can be added to the water shortly after Chlorine X-Tend has been applied.
Overdosing:Do not overdose. In the event that three times the amount is applied to the water, water may falsely show higher than normal total chlorine (indicating combined chlorine). This can be remedied by introducing initial doses of a non-chlorine oxidizer (shock) over 3 days. Alternatively, chlorine X-Tend will dissipate out of the water in 7-10 days, relieving the false test results.
