GLB Super Sequa Sol is a concentrated, granular sequestering agent that prevents staining, scale, and rust on pool equipment, pipes, and fittings. This product is formulated to protect pool equipment. Its powerful formula holds minerals in solution even in chlorine, bromine, and strong UV sunlight. Super Sequa Sol is great for use at the beginning of the season or any time a large amount of make-up water is added to the pool. This product is compatible with chlorine, bromine, biguanide, ozone, and salt water sanitizing systems.

Initial Treatment (Normal Water):

10 oz per 10,000 gallons of water.

Initial Treatment (Hard Water or Metals):

20 oz per 10,000 gallons of water.

Routine Maintenance:

2 oz per 10,000 gallons of water per week.

It is easier to prevent rust, corrosion, and scaling problems than to cure them. An initial treatment of Super Sequa-Sol is the recommended when the pool is being filled and again at the start of each season.

Works well and great customer service

The product itself works. Not sure it is "better" than what I used in the past (i.e., Jack's Purple Stuff) but seems to work well. Note that this will take some time for to dissolve and effective in your pool but certainly reduced the amount of iron in our pool (less frequent staining). As for the Pool Geek customer service, they are stellar. I ordered 3 of these and 2 of them seemed to have "less" than the first bottle - Pool Geek offered to refund for ONE bottle or send another bottle for free - I selected the latter and really appreciated their help.
